Pelosi, a master of hiding expenses, couldn’t keep her extravagant spending a secret, and it was her own party’s fault.
Under President Joe Biden’s rules of transparency, Pelosi had no choice but to disclose that her eating, drinking, and travel habits cost every single American taxpayer $108 each in 2021. Her travel cost slightly less than her alcohol, with ice cream coming in a close third.
Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says he believes Pelosi should write every American she stole from a check.
Pelosi’s office hasn’t answered our requests for comment, as usual.
