It seems that no matter where we turn, the wokeness is spreading. With fewer and fewer places a true American can go to experience life without the new disease of woke mind virus, it hurts when another one falls. The latest, unfortunately, is Chick-Fil-A.
The VP of “diversity and inclusion,” Joe Barron, has announced that in order to respect the rights of all religions, the company will no longer “pander to Christians” by closing on Sundays.
“Jews would prefer we close on Saturday,” said Barron, “and Buddhists believe in the sanctity od Tuesday. There are even some who celebrate the camel and hold Wednesday in high regard. We can’t close every day, so we’ll stay open instead.”
Barron says Christians will still have the opportunity to take the day off. “Anyone can request a religious day and we’ll give it to them,” he said.
How is it inclusive to take things away from Christians, patriots? Does any of that make sense? And now what…just any Joe Shmo can say “My religion says I ain’t gotta work Friday afternoon” and that’s just the way it is? Does he have any idea what that would do to the common construction site?
When you go to Chick-Fil-A, you don’t go for “inclusiveness.” Christ you don’t even go for the overrated pickle chicken. You go to own the libs. You give them the finger when they cruise by and laugh at the 48-minute wait at the drive-thru.
It was never about the wait. We’ll miss you, Chick-Fil-A, but this one is inexcusable. God Bless America.
