It’s yet another sad September afternoon in New York, down the street from the Chrysler building and around the corner from legendary Flagg’s Deli on 51st Street.  The sun seems somehow a little darker and a bit lower.

That’s because Henry Winkler, aka the beloved actor who for so many years, entertained America with the character of  Arthur “The Fonz’ Fonzarelli on the smash television hit show Happy Days has passed away at the age of 77.

Or has he?  In fact, the webpage America’s Last Line of Defense and it’s numerous affiliated sites have reported his death over 20 times in the last few years, each time differently.  It never turns out to be accurate.

But why?  Perhaps longtime Fonzarelli fly girl and professional Astrologer Sandra Batt could shed some light on these circumstances.

‘Killing off the Fonz is a long and storied tradition here, and it almost always works to depress taters and the like.  They remember him fondly from their old shows that they still watch.  Flagg Eagleton started it all.”

But in this case, after such a hiatus, we just have to ask : is he really gone?  We asked Henry Winkler himself to speculate.

“No, I’m not dead.  I was just on that show ‘Barry’. Jeez.  Someone give me a break.  Before I have to shove a rubber hose up your nose.”

We understand that the “up your nose” quote was actually “Squiggy” from Laverne and Shirley, but it seemed too good to pass up.
