Former President Donald Trump says the way Will Smith acted at the Oscars was “shameful and beneath him.” Trump, who describes Smith as “one of his favorite blacks,” says Smith was way out of line.
According to a spokesman, Trump thinks Chris Rock’s joke was hilarious and exactly the kind of zinger he would have tossed, especially at a couple of liberal losers like the Smiths.
Trump says he has a new respect for Rock, and began making inquiries about hiring him for his 2024 campaign. He thinks Rock would “make some nice notes. Maybe he can dictate them to someone. Can they read?”
