Donald Trump is fighting a war. The war has been waged by Antifa and other lawless players. They have left him no choice but to deploy troops to restore law and order.
The liberals have convinced themselves that it is illegal for the Commander-in-chief to command our military to protect our country from these evildoers.
Well, the liberals are wrong. According to the Posse Comitatus Act, which is part of the U.S. Constitution, the President of the United States has absolute power to deploy a military action when domestic unrest threatens national security.
It states:
“Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”
The White House Press Secretary’s Press Secretary Sandy Batt had this to say:
“Donald Trump has plenty of cash. He is America’s president and he cares deeply that these lawbreakers are brought to justice. Police men are human beings. Some of them make mistakes on the job, just like any other person. They can’t be perfect 100 percent of the time. Mistakes happen. However, the violence in our streets must stop. So, President Trump is willing to pay the $10,000 fines and deploy active military to restore law and order as permitted by the U.S. Constitution and Posse Comitatus Act.”
